Campaign Video

Dear Friend,

My name is Iman Novin and I am running for Walnut Creek City Council because it is important that we honor our past as we look to our future. My family was drawn to Walnut Creek because of the quality of life this city has to offer- great schools, beautiful parks, ample open space and a vibrant downtown.

I joined the Walnut Creek Planning Commission in 2014 and have had the honor of representing you on critical local issues including infrastructure, homelessness, economic development and the high-cost of housing. I pride myself on being a positive voice for change and environmental sustainability.

As a Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce board member and a local small business owner, I understand what it takes to grow a vibrant economy with high paying local jobs. I also understand the importance of supporting local restaurants, retail, entrepreneurs and professional services —small businesses that are the backbone of our City’s economy.

As a builder of workforce housing, I have helped create more than 1,500 homes for working families, teachers, seniors and veterans throughout the Bay Area. I have helped cities like Walnut Creek protect and retain longtime residents, while welcoming new families.

Elections are about the Future. The decisions we make today will guide the direction of our community for years to come. Together we can ensure Walnut Creek will continue to be the Jewel of the East Bay.

I look forward to earning your support over the next few months and earning your vote in November. Please feel free to contact me directly anytime at Iman@Novin2018.com.

Thank you.
